Choose the model before the method
Begin with the model you want to personalize. J-FT1 is listed with logo and artwork personalization, while JT0014 and JT0015 describe logo and lettering options. These descriptions give the conversation a starting point; they do not establish that every product supports every technique.
If you need a logo treatment for a ring or necklace box whose page does not specify a method, send the model code and reference image with your request. We will check the available options rather than transfer a claim from a different product.
Send artwork that represents the intended design
Share the clearest artwork file you have and identify the version that should be used. Include any lettering as well as the logo, and explain whether the mark should include a symbol, wordmark or both. File suitability can be reviewed during the discussion.
Tell us which elements must remain together and which colors are part of your brand requirements. A finished product photograph can help explain the direction, but the intended artwork should be identified separately so there is no confusion about what belongs to your brand.
Specify placement and scale as requests
Use a labelled photograph or written description to indicate your preferred location. Include an approximate width if you have one, and state which way the artwork should face when the case is opened or presented.
Available space and the selected model need to be reviewed before the final size is confirmed. Keep proposed placement, artwork color and decorative finish separate in the brief so each part can be checked.
Review the details before proceeding
Ask for confirmation of the model, shown or requested color, artwork version, placement and personalization method. If sampling is part of your project, discuss what the sample should demonstrate and how you will review it. Do not treat an illustration or reference image as confirmation of a finished result.
For a range of products, maintain one brief per model or clearly identify the shared and different requirements. This is especially useful for a packaging distributor coordinating requests for several customers.
- Model code and preferred product color.
- Logo or lettering file, with the intended version identified.
- Preferred placement and approximate artwork width.
- Artwork colors and finish preferences.
- Any sampling requirements or questions still to confirm.
